Last night the club made one of our regular visits to The Greenhills pub in Allerton for a meal in their carvery. As usual the members were made to feel very welcome by both the staff and the regulars. Before the meal we had a drink or two in the bar where members chatted to those regulars they now regard as friends. As usual chaos was caused a we queued for the food and plates groaning with food were carried back to tables. Only then did the place go quiet as everyone tucked in. At the end of the meal Paul asked the waiting and kitchen staff to come out so that we could all say thank you.
During the meal Pauline Quine took ill and an ambulance was called. To be on the safe side she was taken to hospital but everything proved to be Ok and Pauline is now back to normal.
