The Queen's Jubilee Celebration
Thursday 7th June saw Thursday Club's Jubilee 'Street' Party. Before the Jubilee Feast we had games such as 'Pin the Ears on Prince Charles' and Put the Crown on The Queen', with lots of cheating.
After a rousing chorus of The National Anthem, led by Lord Foxley, the food was served and quiet descended on the club for a few moments.
When all the food was put away two groups played Pass the Parcel with a Jubilee Plate as the prizes.
Then much to Lord Philip Foxley's delight a Special group of visitors arrived.

Valentine's Day Disco
This year's Valentine Disco was hosted by the Tuesday Club at the old Ward Blenkinsop Social Club. The night was organised and paid for by Barclays who did the clubs proud with the decorations, disco, food, roses and prizes. Needless to say the bar was well utilised.

Panto Night is Here Again
Once again the Everyman Panto (this year held at the Playhouse) seemed to be even better than the last. The company's performance of Cinderella had the members dancing in their seats as usual and this year those in the front two rows ended up wet as they were regularly sprayed with water.
At the end of the show as we were leaving Frances Tucker (one of the ugly sisters) and Jonny Bower (Cinderella's father) came to say goodbye to us. A really great night.

Wednesday was a day out at Marwell Zoo. A glorious day with lots of different animals to see and a good time had by all. In the evening members and helpers went to the Pier Theatre to see ABBA, no not the real group, but that didn't stop member, and helpers, joining in on the singalong and aisle dancing!
Thursday the rains set in on . However, it didn't spoil the fun. After a morning of Horse racing in the hotel the afternoon was spent Ten Pin Bowling followed by a visit to Poole harbour in the evening where we were entertained by a band and firworks.
